UMPIRES
The club depends on the volunteer contribution of its players to ensure it maintains its basic operations. Umpires are no exception and we need players to umpire home games. There is no need to be a professional umpire basic knowledge of the game will suffice. In return, players get a chance to brush-up their umpiring skills and their knowledge of the game. You will also be eligible for a free hot dog and drink after your game as a thank-you. Same for scoring.
In order to be fair to everyone, the club will be producing an umpire roster. When it is your turn if you are unable to make it, you will need to find replacement.

This week's nomination goes to Yoshi Hanami for the following garb, for which something very similar recently got a few members of the club quietly escorted from the fine Kew establishment of the Skinny Dog Hotel. Despite the very calm and rational efforts of those involved to avoid the inevitable, it was to no avail and the night had to be continued at another fine Kew establishment just down the road.
