Pre-Season Training
Training is well underway now with good numbers so far and it is especially pleasing to see a large increase in juniors this year already. Training will continue on Thursday at our home ground Myrtle Park from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and next week is the first junior training from 9am to 11am with senior training following at 11am to 1pm.

When you tell people you play for North Balwyn, the question that usually follows is, The North Balwyn What?
Well after 70 years of not having a what or any sort of identity, it is time to change. There is a need to improve the old logo and modernise to something that is new, exciting and more marketable.
So here are some options to consider. Virtually all sporting clubs in the local area already have a name associated with them which cuts out a number of options. In addition we want to have something which relates to the club colours and is marketable to potential sponsors. This cuts out a number of options as well.
So here is the short list to choose from:

The North Balwyn Stingers
The North Balwyn Wasps
The North Balwyn Hornets
The North Balwyn Bears
The North Balwyn Knights
The North Balwyn Raptors
