Welcome back for season 2007, we are looking to build on the success of last season and improve on all fronts both on and off the field. Here is a list of dates for the pre-season which could change in terms of time, but unless you hear or see otherwise assume this. Mid-week training dates may also be added so stay tuned.
For those not aware, the North Balwyn Baseball Club was formed in 1937, this being 2007 is a fairly important year as it marks the 70th season since the club was formed. To celbrate this incredible achievement, a gala dinner and auction night will be held around the end of July. More details are still to come, but rest assured it will be a night to remember.
Since last season you may have changed your mobile number, preferred email address, moved house, changed phone numbers or maybe you moved last season but forgot to tell us, please UPDATE YOUR DETAILS ONLINE. All details are kept private and confidential.

Bring a shovel, rake, pick or similar. If you don't have one don't worry, just be ready to help out. The ground is in pretty good shape considering the weather, but the better we make it now, the better it will play all season long.
Free BBQ after training to welcome everyone back to the new season.

As we are all aware, stage 4 water restrictions are right around the coner. While our ground is is pretty good condition at the moment, a number of grounds, especially those north of the Yarra in Whittlesea, Darabin, Banuly etc are currently unplayable. Unless there is rain, and plenty of it soon many more grounds may be unplayable. We will keep you posted with regard to the weather, or you can look out your window. Worst case scenairio, the season will be postponed, however that is a long way away to be think about just yet.
