3rd Nine vs Croydon - Lost 10-11

No match report submitted.

4th Nine vs Ringwood - Lost 7-24

Playing against the top team can be a challange, and for what its worth, it wasnt too bad. After the first we led 1-0. Ting-Kuo Lin started on the mound and did a good job. However the reason Ringwood tops the ladder became evident with 13 runs scored (7 earned) in the 3rd. What was good was the commitment of the infield getting behind almost every ball hit. Just getting the throws over to 1st let us down. Another positive is that we scored more against them then any other team to date if the ladder/results are accurate. Finally Ben Wang had his first time on the mound to end out the game and didn't do too bad. Final score, 7-24.

5th Nine vs Latrobe Uni - Lost 4-17

No Match report submitted.

Under 13s vs Heathmont - Lost 7-3

By far the best game of the year with already an incredible improvement by everyone. The batting and fielding were outstanding by all this week against the unbeaten and top of the table Heathmont. One of the years best fielding efforts featuring top strikes from Jerome (SS) & Tom G (3B) for put-outs at 1B and a "5-to-2" run saving out at home delivered by Liam & Declan. Anything in the air was also being caught with pop-ups grabbed by Ben W, Ben E, Zac & Seb. The boys bats were cold early with 7 left on base but things warmed up in the last innings with a lead off double from Tom Gray & walk from Jerome being driven in by RBI's from Niall, Ben E & Ben W.  In an evenly matched and entertaining game the boys fell short 3-7. Everyone played very well. Big thanks to Randall for umpiring.
